|About the Book|
Most African tribes believe they have a connection with their ancestors who have passed into the world beyond and also with their ancestral gods. The Annang people of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria are not different from their neighbors in Nigeria and in the entire continent. They are superstitious and quick to assign any misfortune, death, disease or accident to the anger of the gods or to their ancestors. And as if the gods and their ancestors were not enough problems, neighbors, relatives and friends usually also bear the brunt of the problems when things go wrong.
