In her head she still hears her father’s put-downs, his cutting remarks and lack of warmth toward her.Jane meets Letitia, a strong woman- they are attracted to each other. Letitia is Jane’s dream-woman: buxom, confident, and independent. Letitia also has a ten year old daughter, so both women face similar joys and difficulties.Jane begins to see she has a chance to change all of the old patterns that made her so unhappy in the past.
